The President of the National e-Health Authority, Professor Christos N. Schizas, held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of European Affairs, Mrs. Marilena Raouna, at the offices of the Secretariat of the Cyprus Presidency of the EU Council 2026. During the meeting, Ms. Raouna was informed about the role and actions, as well as the European projects coordinated by the EHRC, in relation to the implementation of the European Health Union. At the same time, the President of EAHY presented the work plan that is expected to be implemented during the European Presidency of Cyprus. For her part, Ms. Rauna, asked for three specific proposals to be submitted in writing for their possible inclusion in the programme of activities of the European Presidency. The meeting was attended by the Director of the Secretariat of the Cyprus Presidency, Mr. Dimitris Mavrommatis, the Senior Officer – Head of the National Contact Point of e-Health, Dr. Marios Neophytou, as well as other officials.
