The National e-Health Authority is in the process of finalizing contacts with scientific societies and associations of health professionals for information on the progress of the development of the content and functionality of the Integrated Electronic Health Record that will enable citizens to provide access to their medical data to any provider they wish, in any EU country.On Wednesday 17 September 2024, a meeting was held with the Dental Services of the Ministry of Health and the Pancyprian Dental Association. For her part, the Director of Dental Services, Ms. Andri Aristotelous, thanked the President of the Authority, Professor Christos N. Schizas, for the invitation and stressed the importance of the Electronic Health Record, since this project is a single electronic platform with the medical history and all information related to the health of the citizen. He noted that the secondary processing of the EHR data will become a useful tool in the assessment and monitoring of health indicators in the Cypriot population. On behalf of the Cyprus Dental Association, Mr. Thomas Koutras expressed his confidence that the EHR will contribute to the upgrading of the health services provided and described the meeting with the National e-Health Authority as very interesting and productive.
